Temp-i-Touch

Temp-i-Touch is a thermal haptics prototype designed to enable more advanced user interactions in VRChat. Built at MIT Reality Hack 2025, the project uses an ESP32, relays, and a Peltier module to apply controlled hot or cold sensations to the back of the user’s hand. I focused on the physical user integration and overall experience, designing the module that secures the device to the user while keeping the system compact and lightweight. I also led the product presentation and marketing efforts, including producing the project video. The project emphasized rapid iteration, cross-disciplinary collaboration, and hands-on learning with hardware-driven interaction design.

Ghost Escape

Ghost Escape is an immersive augmented reality game designed to take advantage of the natural translucence of XREAL glasses to create a ghost-themed experience. Built with Unity and the XREAL SDK at Stanford’s Immerse the Bay hackathon, the game uses 6DoF tracking to spawn and place ghosts dynamically around the player. I served as project lead, authoring the game design document, coordinating developer workflows, and supporting technical decision-making throughout development. Despite challenges with hardware integration and limited on-device debugging, we successfully built and deployed the game to the XREAL Android device. I also presented the final experience to judges and outlined future expansions such as enhanced player mechanics and power-ups.

Video Projects

I’ve worked on a variety of video projects with a focus on post-production, team coordination, and creative storytelling. My responsibilities often included co-developing scripts, managing production workflows, and guiding projects from rough cuts to final delivery. I directed creative storytelling and refined narratives through hands-on editing, with an emphasis on clarity, pacing, and cohesion. I primarily used Adobe Premiere Pro and Photoshop to produce polished final cuts and supporting visual assets. This experience strengthened my ability to balance creative intent with technical execution across collaborative teams.

Illini Esports Invitational

I helped organize and manage the Illini Esports Invitational, an online competitive event focused on reliable, high-quality live broadcasting. My role included coordinating teams and broadcast operations, developing event scripts, and ensuring smooth technical execution throughout the stream. I used OBS Studio to manage live production workflows such as scene setup, transitions, and audio coordination. In addition to technical production, I served as an on-camera emcee, engaging live audiences in real time.
