I am a media and technology professional with a background in building engaging, hands-on experiences at the intersection of technical systems and creative work. I studied Media & Cinema Studies at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where I combined media theory and storytelling with project-based, technical exploration that shaped how I approach design, collaboration, and user experience.
During my time at UIUC, I became deeply involved in immersive technology and student-led creative communities, eventually serving as President of the VR Club. In that role, I helped organize meetings and events, supported member projects, and worked to create an inclusive, collaborative environment for students from a wide range of technical and creative backgrounds. Leading the club gave me hands-on experience in leadership, coordination, and communication, and it reinforced the importance of making emerging technology spaces accessible and welcoming.
Alongside this, I worked on and led projects at XR focused hackathons, where I collaborated with developers, designers, and engineers to quickly turn ideas into functional prototypes. These experiences emphasized adaptability, clear documentation, and teamwork under tight deadlines, and gave me hands-on experience with immersive platforms and emerging technologies.
Across my work in immersive projects, live esports production, and technical operations, I’ve often taken on roles that bridge creative vision and practical execution. I enjoy helping teams stay aligned, refining workflows, and supporting the technical details that make a project come together smoothly. I’m especially drawn to work that blends structure with creativity and values thoughtful, human-centered design.
Outside of formal roles, I enjoy experimenting with new tools, learning unfamiliar platforms, and staying involved in communities centered around emerging technology and interactive media. I’m always curious about how new tools can be applied in practical, human-centered ways, and I’m motivated by projects where collaboration and curiosity are just as important as technical skill.
